The 2017/18 USC election campaign period is taking place right now. Over the next two weeks candidates will engage in discussions on a variety of issues relevant to Western students. Students vying for positions will be partaking in campaigns across campus and online.
This website includes all positions which are up for elections during the Jan. 30-31 polls.
The Gazette will be there every step of the way, keeping you informed and up-to-date on the latest news. Students are encouraged to follow along on social media and submit questions for the candidates. The election will come to a close in two weeks as voting takes place on Jan. 30 and 31, and (hopefully) on Feb. 1 the winners will be announced. Voting will be conducted online — and all students are encouraged to take part in the democratic process on campus.
